Meet Ken

As a John L. Scott broker, Ken Williams focuses on delivering thoughtful guidance and a smooth experience for buyers and sellers. His approach is built around professionalism, honesty, and long-term relationships with the people he serves.

Ken began his real estate career in 1994 with ERA American Brokers and shortly afterward joined the John L. Scott office in Renton, where he continues to serve clients throughout the Puget Sound region.

Since the early 2000s, Ken has specialized in Adult Family Home real estate. During that time, he has helped nearly 150 clients buy or sell Adult Family Homes as they enter the business or transition out after years of providing care. In the past five years alone, he has been involved in about 70 Adult Family Home transactions, working with both existing licensed homes and properties purchased to be converted into new AFHs.

Many of the calls Ken receives begin with the phrase “I was given your name,” reflecting the referrals that come from past clients and others in the care community. His experience allows him to guide providers through these transitions carefully while respecting residents, staff, and the integrity of the business.

Beyond real estate, Ken also gives back to the community by remodeling homes for the elderly so families can have a comfortable and dignified place for loved ones to live. When he’s not working, he enjoys trips to the beach, traveling, working out, boxing, and relaxing at home

Bellevue

Bellevue is the third largest city in the Seattle metro area, and it’s the hub of the Eastside, but it’s close to the Cascade mountains for hiking, mountain biking, and, in the winter, skiing and snowboarding. Locals also take advantage of Lake Washington for boating, kayaking or watching the sun set over Seattle and the Olympics to the west. Bellevue’s thriving downtown offers five-star dining, a world-class art museum, and some of the best shopping in the Northwest. The entrepreneurial spirit of the city and its highly educated work force make it a natural home for tech start-ups as well as global corporations. Our schools are rated among the best in the nation. This means even residents without children enjoy healthy property values. And there is a home here for everyone. Townhouses and condos downtown, luxury waterfront properties on the Lake, and areas with a more neighborhood feel are all available in our robust real estate market.
